Corrections, disputes, and removals
Ontario Plumber Directory pulls business details and reviews from public sources to build a searchable list of plumber businesses across Ontario. Each listing pulls current business information (name, address, phone, website, hours, services offered) and a score computed from Google reviews using one fixed rubric applied equally to every business. Being listed here is free. No amount of payment changes how your listing appears or where it ranks. Fixing incorrect business information
If your business name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, or service areas are wrong in your listing, you can request a correction. Submit the correct details along with proof we can verify against, such as your Google Business Profile, your official website, or your business registration. Once we confirm the correction is accurate, we update your listing and that change stays in place through future data refreshes. Only factual fields can be corrected through this process.
Disputing your score or review summary
Scores are never manually adjusted or hand-edited. If you believe your score is wrong, the issue is typically one of three things: your listing is matched to the wrong business, reviews are attributed to you that belong to another plumber, or the summary of what reviewers wrote doesn't match what they actually said. When you dispute a score, we re-check the source data (your business match, the reviews, and the summary text) and regenerate your listing from the correct information. A dispute is not a request for a higher number, and we will not negotiate scores. We will only correct scores if the underlying data was wrong.
Requesting removal from the directory
Your listing is removed if your business is permanently closed, your listing is a duplicate of another entry, or your business falls outside the scope of this directory. If you request removal on one of these grounds, we verify the reason and action it if it applies. Listings that are accurate, in-scope, and currently operating are not removed. If we decline your removal request, we state the reason plainly.

Response times
Every correction, dispute, or removal request receives an acknowledgment within 5 business days. Removal requests that are approved are processed within 7 days. Requests that are declined include an explanation of why.
